Richard G. Olson
Richard Olson has been involved in the medical industry since 1991 when he started billing on the west coast for an east coast billing company. The client base was predominantly hospice and he became an expert in hospice billing and the hospice industry. In 1996 he incorporated MasterCare Services, Inc. to focus entirely on hospice consulting and hospice billing. Since that time his client base has grown to more than 35 clients from California to Georgia. MasterCare’s billings to Medicare, Medi-Cal, and private insurance companies is more than $60 million a year. In 2004 his wife obtained her own Medicare/Medi-Cal hospice provider number in the Ventura area. This software is a result of his wife’s desire to have a simple administrative program and Richard’s desire to capture the information for monthly billing and year end reports.

Reed Brown
Reed Brown started his medical career as a Claims Manager in 1984. He has since developed numerous software programs for this industry. Working closely with MasterCare Services, he has written version two of MasterCare Hospice Software which now includeds Medicare and Medi-Cal electronic billing. He has a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Computer Science and was the IT Manager for a major Homecare, Private duty and Hospice company in the Southern California area.
